An introduction to the course

The course is designed to give you a complete grounding in the craft, explain many of the branches or groups, compare with other belief systems or religions and tell you as much as we can about what becoming a witch entails.

Some areas we revisit during the course several times, and we look at many different ideas and philosophies, as far as we can from a neutral viewpoint. We look at creating your own strategic plan, at information sources and how you can in effect either pick and mix your own practice or choose one of the many paths. we cover quite a lot of history from different periods and traditions, but in a way that allows you to go as deep as you want and then move on.

Written from a UK principle viewpoint we also fully explore all USA opportunities and resources, and other opportunities around the world, making this course suitable for people dealing in the UK or USA or anywhere else in the world.

In the USA Witchcraft or Wicca is a respected and accepted branch of religion and many other religions will hold joint events with them, while in the UK where up to the 1950's it was illegal to be involved in witchcraft, and newspapers are still less that sensible when discussing the subject, most witches and covens are rather more secretive. Some information is only now in this course being published for the first time.

We also tell you how to go about becoming a Witch either on your own, with a group of friends, or how to find an existing coven or group that you can join.

We have tried to be as honest and open as we can, we have discussed relationships,  sex and nudity in some types of witchcraft, and looked at many other topics perhaps others may not, but you should treat this as part of the overall course rather then in isolation.

This course is FREE, there  is no cost to you, neither are you expected to purchase anything or subscribe to any publications. Where items are needed we explain low cost or zero cost substitutes.
